Thanks to Cleggan Tidy Towns who also kindly sponsored the cost of the cherry picker. Special thanks to Claude Reichard for being a driving force behind this project and we are very grateful to him for his wonderful organisation and co-ordination. All the children in the school chose a book from the World Book Day list of books earlier in the week and they brought home their new books today. Special thanks to Catherine in The Clifden Bookshop for kindly preparing the books for us!
The junior room took advantage of the beautiful day to go on a spring walk to investigate all the signs of spring around us! Followed by a play on the beach !
Yesterday the whole school got to try some pancake flipping and ate some delicious pancakes with Ms. Griffin and Martina. We even had lovely blackberry compote that was made with the blackberries the children gathered earlier in the year. The pancakes were delicious!
