It is looking very spooky around Claddaghduff N.S today. The children are having lots of fun!
Today, we were busy in the kitchen with Ms. Griffin preparing some delicious Halloween treats for our Halloween party tomorrow… The Junior and Senior Infants made ‘Spider Krispy buns’, 1st and 2nd made ‘Chocolate apples’ and 3rd to 6th made creepy ‘eyeball buns’. They all made enough for everyone in the school so they will enjoy having them at their Halloween party tomorrow!
The senior room have been busy this week doing extra ‘Math’s Week’ activities…
What a wonderful end to our fantastic Clifden Arts Festival. We were so happy to be in costumes and part of The Arts Festival parade. Big thanks to Mandy and Mark from Luxe and to the Fidget Feet team for the choreography. We are so grateful to Clifden Arts Festival for bringing these fantastic learning opportunities to our children!
The children enjoyed two great workshops with fidgetfeet and did great preparation for tomorrows parade.

It was our pleasure to have the talented poet, Tony Curtis back in our school. It is a few years since Tony has been with us and it was lovely to have him back.
Thanks to #clifdenartsfestival for this!
Between breaks, we had True North perform for us. The band members have travelled all the way from America. We enjoyed the performance, especially the last song ‘Country road’.
Thanks to #clifdenartsfestival for sending True North to our school!
