Yesterday, 5th and 6th Class did a very interesting First Aid course with Robert King from King Safety. We are very grateful to Robert for giving up his time to do this informative course with the children.
On Thursday last week, the Senior Room had a walk of the whole of Omey Island. We were so lucky to have our walk on such a beautiful day.
Claddaghduff N.S was delighted to participate in The Claddaghduff St. Patricks Day Parade. Our theme was ‘Where’s Wally in Co. Galway’. Well done to everyone for making a fantastic effort. The children had a great time and thanks to Geraldine for all of her hard work organising the event.
The Junior Room had lots of fun making St. Patrick’s Day buns with Ms. O’ Malley. A lovely Friday treat!
We made a great start to our reading buddies groups which started today, ‘World Book Day’. All the children in the school chose a book from the World Book Day list of books earlier in the week and they brought home their new books today. Special thanks to Catherine in The Clifden Bookshop for kindly preparing the books for us!
The junior room took advantage of the beautiful day to go on a spring walk to investigate all the signs of spring around us! Followed by a play on the beach !
